Courier from South Africa to New Zealand

If this is your first time - lets start :
(If you have done this before, scroll down to START YOUR BOOKING):

If you are sending parcels from South Africa to New Zealand or Internationally, you are on the right page.

HOW IT WORKS

  1. By now you have an idea what you would like to send, and to whom. Fit your items snug and securely in any box, envelope, package and before you seal it, check the weight and dimensions. Airfreight fee’s are charged on the larger weight: If your box ends up to be 3KG DIM, but weights 1KG, you will be charged 3KG weight.

    KG=normal weight of an item.
    Dimensional weight: LxHxW in cm, divided by 5000 = dim weight. The larger is what your invoice will be.

  2. Now that you know what you want to send from South Africa and where, check here to see what it would cost you to send. The price list includes door to door, signature required, insured up to R4000 if included, carrier fee insurance is included, customs and duties IF your item value is under R4000. PRICE LIST.

  3. If your item is too expensive for you to send, unpack and start again - or if you have some space to add a few things, now is the time. Seal your box, package and start your booking. Each question explains the process from here. If in doubt, Catherine Tait:

  4. Your labels (standard A4 PDF pages) will be emailed to you (with the addresses pre-printed) which you stick on your box (sellotape, glue, not-so-much-staple) - the courier can then track your item from start to end. We are not responsible for your item if you send it without a label. If the carrier is FedEx/DHL/The Courier Guy, they normally bring stationery/packaging in their vehicles. You would need access to a printer. IF you do not have a printer, we will send a local courier to collect where you can hand complete your forms.

  5. Collections should be ordered one day prior to collection and we do not collect on a week end.

  6. If you do not have a printer, please note that on your booking - an alternative collection will be arranged. One of the PDF labels to print (on the occasion), is your commercial invoice - this invoice is not payable, it is a declaration of goods from port to port - not for payment. Your invoice will be emailed to you with your tracking numbers and payment details.

  7. Parcel / item route: Senders address to Durban SA Depot, to airport, to NZ Depot or direct to receiver, or other country. The best route will be planned for your item and your tracking number can change.

If you have a question or would like a detailed quote for a country other than New Zealand, please send Catherine a quick enquiry:

very important: your parcel should not be sent

without a tracking label at any time- Printed or written.
